Michelangelo & Uffizi Gallery

It was exciting to appreciate Michelangelo's sculpture and painting in person.  His master pieces along with other genius Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Donatello, Giotto, etc. of the Italian Renaissance made Florence such an attractive tour spot. The informative guided tour made me understand and admire Michelangelo's David a lot better.  I kept a photo of the back of David to enjoy this magnificent piece of art.

Verona - Palazzo Mefei

Image
Before I headed to Verona, I expected the real home of Juliet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet's love story would be a big attraction, as a matter of fact, the Juliet's balcony was filled not so Juliet's tourists for photos.  I only stay 30 seconds under the balcony. luckily, the remain of Roman Theatre was reserved well, so was the wall of the city. During the short stop by while on our way to Venice, what impressed me the most was Palazzo Hefei with Torre del Gardello.  The square combines ancient buildings with modern free market stands in the center - tourists can find nearly everything here.

Lago di Como

There are many adjectives have been used to describe Lake Como in Northern Italy:  romantic, buzzy, artistic, cultural, attractive, earthy-colored, luxury, chic, etc.  There are sufficient evidences for people to describe so.  I also agree that people travel to Lago di Como for its magnificent villas and gardens. Upon visiting this lovely place, I realized that reason at least partial reason that many celebrities and leaders round world would like to locate a vacation home along the Lake Como.  It's beyond the atmosphere, it's the people.  People in Como mind their own business in their own pace with their unique personality of not being nosy. I absolutely enjoyed its tranquility and natural beauty along with its delicious foods.
