Lago di Como

There are many adjectives have been used to describe Lake Como in Northern Italy:  romantic, buzzy, artistic, cultural, attractive, earthy-colored, luxury, chic, etc.  There are sufficient evidences for people to describe so.  I also agree that people travel to Lago di Como for its magnificent villas and gardens.


Upon visiting this lovely place, I realized that reason at least partial reason that many celebrities and leaders round world would like to locate a vacation home along the Lake Como.  It's beyond the atmosphere, it's the people.  People in Como mind their own business in their own pace with their unique personality of not being nosy.

I absolutely enjoyed its tranquility and natural beauty along with its delicious foods.

In April 2017 I decided to take a trip to Cape Cod to explore whether it is a midway to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket or it has its much more to offer to visitors. Michelangelo & Uffizi Gallery

It was exciting to appreciate Michelangelo's sculpture and painting in person.  His master pieces along with other genius Leonardo da Vinci, Raphael, Donatello, Giotto, etc. of the Italian Renaissance made Florence such an attractive tour spot. The informative guided tour made me understand and admire Michelangelo's David a lot better.  I kept a photo of the back of David to enjoy this magnificent piece of art.
